The very beginning of the final where everyone was nervous and anxious to know what will happen and who would bring the championship home. |
Starting off playing defensive since we knew Wolf Canyon is a good school and was in 1st place. |
Wolf Canyon gets the first goal in and things were already starting to look not so good. |
They were ahead and kept trying to score more taking every opportunity they had. |
CVLCC gives a through pass and the forwards sprints towards the ball and ties it up. We were now back in the game and started thinking positive. |
A little after we score 2 more goals and were ahead 3-1! Second half came in the Wolf Canyon scores 2 goals its now a tie game 3-3 and the game is anyones. |
Both teams had their opportunities and both missed penalties and free kicks. They went to extra time and CVLCC took the victory with a goal living the final score 4-3. |
Parents and friends supporting the game. |
They got trophies and medals. |
Players as happiest as they can be. |
Keeping the tradition, throwing water from the cooler to the best coach for such a great season. |
At the end of the game the girls got their medals as well as the 3 coaches and coach Ibanes had something to say to each individual and put the medals on them. |
Michelle, one of the players I already knew from internship and got closer to throughout the season. |
She's one of the players I worked with and tried to improve her skills such as kicking the ball correctly and harder. I also tried helping her out using her body. |

We had the complete team all gathered up with our medals and trophy. |
A couple minutes later they ended up breaking the trophy since they all wanted to hold it and get their excitement out. |
Mr. Ibanes the main coach, me and Mr. Garcia another assistance coach. |
